L32 Three Cavity Convertible Upgraded to accept 63mm preforms - Video
The L32 Convertible PET stretch blow molder was designed with custom blow molders in mind. The convertible feature means that the machine can run one,two or three cavities allowing for flexibility in production runs. It will run in single cavity mode for bottles up to 5 liters, two cavity for bottles up to 3 and three cavity mode for bottles up to 2 liters.
The max neck finish has now been upgraded to accept 63mm preforms in three cavity mode. The preforms are still automatically loaded using the regular unscrambler and loading system. The machine frame size remains unchanged.
The video below shows the L32 machine running a 28oz peanut jar with a 63mm neck.

Mag-Plastic’s withdrawal creates opportunities for Amsler Equipment
June 28th, 2013 Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada
Amsler Equipment Inc., the only North American manufacturer of all-electric reheat stretch-blow molding machines, appointed GMK Advisors Inc. to manage sales in the USA & Caribbean 18 months ago following Mag-Plastic Machinery’s announcement that they were exiting the PET stretch-blow molding machinery market. During this short time, GMK has worked exclusively with Amsler to increase market awareness and sales in their markets.
GMK Advisors is owned by Tom Schneider and Bill O’Day, both of whom were executives of blow molding machinery manufacturers in the past. From 2003 to 2011, they were exclusive sales representatives for Mag-Plastic Machinery in the US. GMK’s history with Mag ties in directly with Amsler’s marketing and sales plans. Amsler offers a much larger range of machines (from 1 to 6 cavities) compared to Mag’s 2 to 4 cavities. Amsler’s all-electric design consumes less energy and requires less maintenance because it does not use a hydraulic clamping system. Amsler’s PET Stretch-blow molding machines can easily accept existing molds designed to run on competitors’ machines.
Heidi Amsler, sales & marketing manager said: “Working with GMK Advisors Inc. has helped us to promote and sell the PET stretch-blow molding machinery and leak testers into new accounts in the US & Caribbean, including a 4-cavity machine to Containers Plus in Barbados and 4 machines to Consolidated Container Corporation in the U.S.”
More information about GMK Advisors is available by email at: info@gmkadvisorsinc.com or by phone: 630-357-2008.

Amsler Announces Expanded Leak Testing Capabilities at NPE 2012 (See Video Below)
Amsler Announces Availability of Servo Stretch Rods for Complete Line of Stretch-Blow Machinery
Key Benefits Include Precision Control, Energy Savings, and Greater Output
ORLANDO, Fla., April 1, 2012 – Amsler Equipment Inc., a leading manufacturer of all-electric, reheat stretch-blow molding machines based in Richmond Hill, Ont., Canada, has announced the availability of highly-efficient servo stretch rods for its complete line of all-electric reheat stretch-blow machinery. The company has already sold several convertible L32 three-cavity reheat stretch-blow molding machines with servo stretch rods in North America. Amsler made the announcement at NPE 2012: The International Plastics Showcase, April 1-5, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. (Booth #583).
For custom blow molders, the servo-driven electric stretch rods deliver major productivity advantages over pneumatic stretch rods, according to President Werner Amsler. “We’ve taken an already highly efficient machine and made it even more energy efficient,” said Amsler. “Our machines are now able to offer a new level of cost savings and at the same time increased output.”
Compared to pneumatic versions, servo stretch rods provide the user with more precise control over the stretching process and reduced cycle time, said Amsler. Servo stretch rods also provide lower power consumption, saving 5 kW/h of energy. They also offer more precise and better speed control and ramp-up for better productivity and consistency, thus reducing scrap.
A 4% cycle time reduction results in improved productivity which means more bottles per hour. Operator setup of servo stretch rods is easier compared to pneumatics because no tools are required and they are automatically set up
through the existing operator interface. Unlike pneumatic cylinders which eventually require rebuilding, servo stretch rods require no maintenance.
Servo stretch rods are offered as an option on all of Amsler’s all-electric reheat stretch-blow molding machines.

Amsler to Demonstrate Servo Stretch Rods and Flying Head Leak Tester at NPE 2012
RICHMOND HILL, Ontario, February 1, 2012 – Amsler Equipment Inc., an innovative manufacturer of all-electric, reheat stretch-blow (RHB) molding machines will demonstrate the latest in RHB machinery and auxiliary equipment for PET bottles at NPE 2012: The International Plastics Showcase, April 1-5, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. At NPE (Booth 583), Amsler will highlight the use of highly-efficient servo stretch-rods for its RHB machinery. In addition, the company will introduce a new single flying head leak tester which expands its line of quality inspection equipment.
At the booth, Amsler will run its L32 convertible machine with servo stretch rods. The three-cavity all-electric unit meets the high-output needs of custom blow molders of PET containers with small to medium size requirements, as the machine can be run with one, two, or three molds. At the show, the machine will run an oval bottle without the complexity of a preferential heating oven system which normally requires the use of an expensive dedicated oven and special fingers.
For custom blow molders, the servo-driven electric stretch rods deliver major productivity advantages over pneumatic stretch rods, according to President Werner Amsler. He said “Our machines are now even more environmentally friendly because they offer a new level of energy efficiency and at the same time increase output.” They also offer more precise and better speed control and ramp up for better productivity compared to pneumatics. The excellent repeatability also results in more consistent bottle quality. Amsler offers these highly-efficient servo stretch rods for its complete line of all-electric RHB machinery.
At NPE, Amsler will also introduce a high-speed single flying head leak tester. The unit, the
fourth in a series, expands the company’s broad offering in quality inspection equipment. The
leak tester boasts a smaller footprint than competitive models, features a solid steel frame
construction, and runs 50% faster than a stationary head leak testing unit.
